FruitsMax Trending Higher Than Other Multivitamins, Here’s Why

Here is a little update to the storyline we have been following about Vitamin use, and Sythetic Vitamins and Multivitamins. Here is  “our take” on this drummed up controversy, feel free to learn the truth at this link, but in the meantime here is a summary of what is trending in the marketplace partially as a result of  reports like the ones that this article from  USA Today refers to. The bad part is that people tend to lump all vitamin products together, whether they are synthetic (bad) or natural (good), and also explains why FruitsMax is trending higher in recent months, leading Amazon to rate it as one of it’s top trending products in the Multivitamin and Probiotics categories:

Every year, half of all Americans take some sort of tablet as insurance versus their diets. But recently, researchers have actually discovered an unexpected trend: Use of a few of the most popular supplements is winding down, potentially because of current reports questioning their advantages and raising awareness about risks. In a study by the independent research group ConsumerLab.com, calcium supplements declined among ladies, from 58 % in 2012 to 46 % in 2013. Vitamin C purchases were off by 4.2 %. Even sales of fish oil — once the best supplement on the market — dropped, according to the report.

The one classification where supplements is really growing? Probiotics, or live bacteria that work by “recolonizing the small intestine and crowding out disease-causing bacteria, thereby bring back balance to the intestinal flora,” according to ConsumerLab.com. From 2012 to 2013, usage of probiotics increased from 31 % to 37 % amongst regular supplement users.

Christopher Mohr, a nutritional expert who started MohrResults.com, a nutrition counseling business in Louisville, can attest to the growing demand. “There has actually certainly been an increased interest among customers,” he says. “A good number of scientific studies support the addition of probiotics in our diet, and these tales get picked up by the media, leading customers to learn more about them.”.

Canadian researchers have linked probiotic supplements to lower levels of anxiety. According to study authors, the probiotic “L. rhamnosus (JB-1) reduced stress-induced corticosterone and anxiety- and depression-related behavior” in lab experiments. “Together, these findings highlight the important function of bacteria … and suggest that specific organisms might verify to be helpful restorative accessories in stress-related disorders such as stress and anxiety and depression,” they included.

Weight management is another possible application. A research study in December’s British Journal of Nutrition found that ladies supplementing their diet with probiotics were substantially most likely to drop weight (nearly 11 pounds on average) compared with those taking a placebo (just 5.7 pounds) over a 12-week duration.

While probiotic use is typically thought about safe, not all supplements are produced equal.

“In our screening, some products did not include the quantity of organisms that they declared,” asks Tod Cooperman, president of ConsumerLab.com. In general, capsules should consist of more than 1 billion CFUs (colony-forming devices) to be reliable.

Analysts at the University of California-Los Angeles discovered that females who consumed probiotic-rich yogurt twice a day for four weeks responded better to psychological reactivity tests than those who had regular yogurt, recommending that probiotics could be advantageous in moderating moods. Analysts have actually long understood that the brain sends out signals to the digestive tract (the reason why, when you feel stressed, you commonly get an indigestion). Now, they have evidence that the signal travels the other means too.

The true benefit of probiotics may take years to figure out, but Mohr is confident that for many people, there’s little downside to including them in their diet plan.

“I constantly say food is the very best source of nutrients, and foods like Greek yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut and kimchi are natural sources of probiotics,” he says. “But supplements will supply above and beyond the dosages found in food, and they seem safe for healthy individuals.”

It is simple, the types of vitamins and minerals our bodies need come from nature in raw foods along with all the micro and phytonutrients that are not a part of some isolated chemically produced vitamin. Chemically made synthetic vitamins are not the same as what nature intended for you to consume. Go with natural vitamins and make sure to take care of your gut health by eating probiotic rich foods or take a probiotic supplement.  Of course this is where FruitsMax comes in ; )
